Our History

The year was 1994 and the quality of residential garage door service in Edmonton was bleak. It took the skill, knowledge and determination of one man to stand up and change the horizon forever.

The Door Works was founded by Mark Petaske in 1994 and he quickly gathered a handful of the best garage door service technicians in Western Canada to help him provide the highest quality garage door service possible.

As the years past and The Door Works became the premier residential garage door servicer in Edmonton the demand for a retail showroom became a reality with the launch of The Door Works showroom and parts center opening in 2010 on the west end on Edmonton.
